I don't know if any of you know this fun little fact about Marilyn but she rarely wore panties and she got a lot of flack for it back in the "oooo-hush-hush" era of conformity of the 1950's! She received a prestigious Photoplay Award in 1953 and was wearing the infamous gold lame' dress that brought the room to a standstill when she walked in. It was pretty well known back then that Marilyn didn't like to wear underwear, because she was quite open about her sexuality and she was very open to her "public" about her habits, likes and dislikes.

I couldn't find the videos for "The Misfits", co-starring Clark Gable, and "Clash by Night" which was one of her first major films she starred in, acting alongside Barbara Stanwyck, Paul Douglas and Robert Ryan.

I would like to see who our favorite icon is from the earlier decades of the 20th century. Let's just see who has stood the test of time, although many of them certainly have or we wouldn't be babbling about them today.
