A Display of the Most Rare Photos of Marilyn Monroe!
Come and browse these rare pictures of the girl formerly known as Norma Jeane.
The young Norma Jeane acting as a hostess, one of her ways to get discovered while working for the Blue Book Modeling agency.
A rare outtake from the Milton Greene "Ballerina" setting.

Rare photo taken by Eve Arnold.
Another photo from that set taken by Eve Arnold. Marilyn blowing a bubble!
Young Marilyn modeling a dove swimmingsuit!
A rare swimsuit photo taken by Bob Beerman.
Marilyn in jeans for the movie "Clash by Night".
Marilyn being photographed on the beach.
Marilyn with red hair, this was the color of her hair when she first dyed it.
Norma Jeane is the one on the right.
From a series of photos of her first modeling gigs, the photo is taken by Andre DeDienes.
There are more where those came from and next time I will sequence them by the photographer and the date...so they will be a little easier to look at!
The next series of rare photos will be by a photographer whom Marilyn fell madly in love with and went on a trip across the country with! During that trip they took a series of photographs that would later grace the cover of hundreds of magazines. Do you know who the photographer is? Let me know in the comments.
♥ Happy looking! I hope you all enjoyed seeing more of the beautiful Miss M. ♥

Post a CommentNow that I look at it, she may have been eating a piece of fruit in the pic by Eve Arnold....not blowing a bubble. Oh well!
I love that first pic of her! She looks so young and pretty.
Great photos!! Thanks for sharing them.
I've never seen her wearing jeans in a movie, she looks really different.
I loved the one with the red hair, she looks so young and happy there!
Great photos! Thanks for putting them up.
Thanks those are all beautiful pictures! I think that my favorite one is the one with her red hair; she was always such a beautiful woman.

Wasn't it Andre DeDienes that went across the country with Marilyn? By the way Great Pictures! She is so dazzling even as a child
amazing pics!
The Internet offers a plethora of visual "offerings" that require those whose hands are on the keyboard to "balance" their desire to type/upload photos...with the understanding that your "current mood" will have NO effect on what you have "put out there"...for anyone/everyone to see. It is an "interesting dynamic".
Personally, I am ALL ABOUT QUALITY. The scent of a spring day. The glimmer of the sun as it sets leaving a multi-colored "farewell" on the horizon. The touch of a loved ones hand...at just the right time. Cooking a meal, whose receipes/instructions, have been handed down for generations, and seeing our young daughter...enjoy it with an unbrialed passion. The smirk my wife gives me when she catches me looking at her.
Honesty...it truly is a way of life.
Lastly, being a 7th Degree Black Belt never prepared me for all of the challenges in working with Special Needs Children , Child Abuse Victim, and/or Disabled Persons. Yet, being able to give insight/assistance/etc. is wholly worthwhile as every child is capable of....amazing things. We all should do everything we can to ensure that every child is given love, hope, stability, education, good morals, and to always know that God made them...and God does NOT make...mistakes.
Nuff Said.
